Cumbria Housing Partners is committed to re-investing volume cost savings directly back into local businesses, employment and training.
Specifically:
to commit 2% of the value of the programme to undertake coordination, programme management and regeneration activity
to ensure the training of 2 trainees for every £1m of works (ex materials) with:
CHP Target Year 1 Target
10% of such trainees being female female trainees
5% of such trainees being of ethnic origin ethnic minority trainees
20% of such trainees having disability trainees with disability
5% of such trainees being ex-offenders ex-offender trainees
10% of such trainees being from NEET group trainees from NEET background
80% of all LHP trainees to remain in training and complete NVQ2 trainees remaining in training and achieving NVQ2
every year to support at least one micro-business from non-traditional (female or BME) background
during the period of the business plan to increase social enterprise across Cumbria, taking account of existing partner initiatives, in order to support the consortium's training objectives
