Cumbria Housing Partners - Who We Are

Cumbria Housing Partnership Limited (CHP) trading as Cumbria Housing Partners is a regeneration company limited by guarantee i.e. not for profit. It is a consortium of social housing providers with stock in Cumbria.

CHP aims to generate efficiencies and impact the local labour market by working collaboratively to procure construction materials and contractors for our members’ and customers’ planned maintenance and investment programmes. As a consortium, our members use their volume and expenditure in order to achieve this.

Our members are Copeland Homes, Derwent and Solway Housing Association, Home North West, Impact Housing Association and Two Castles Housing Association. We have two customer landlords – Barrow Borough Council and Eden District Council.

It is expected that the members and customers of CHP will collectively invest over £40 million in the repair and upkeep of properties between now and 2011/12, and it is anticipated that the majority of this will be channelled through CHP.
